Soundfonts

Here's some SNES game soundfonts I've made. They were made using OPENSPC, SPC Tool, modplug tracker and Vienna Soundfont Studio. Each soundfont has all the instrumental samples from each respective game (as far as I am aware) however not all instruments have been created (envelopes, etc.) so you may have to do that yourself. They are all tuned to concert pitch*, irrespective of how out of tune they are in the games. Also, they don't conform to General MIDI, so they're really intended for composition rather than playback of MIDI data. No SNES APU DSP is on any of the samples either - they're all dry, so you'll have to add that yourself too - some simple reverb and delay VST effects may be adequate. *the sample looppoints are not well supported with certain soundfont loaders, like sfz, and that can make the samples out of tune/have the wrong timbre. I would recommend using Kontakt, or something else that works.

Some demonstrations of the soundfonts can be heard at Woolyss. Also, I don't claim any credit for the sounds themselves. Anyway, enjoy!
